Ok let me give the low down on this Bass, I have found some big bass bedding in 5 to 6 ft. of water on stumps, I have never seen another bass boat are a fisherman of any kind in this area for a month now! I had a man booked for today, to bass fish, and he calls and cancels the night before, so I take the wife. I get her in casting distance to the beds and fish a crawdad colored jig tip with a Zoom Craw. While she was casting I pick up a top water and threw it out away from the beds and on the second cast the big girl hammered my Rapla black and silver X Rap bait! My wife did a super job netting her and of course my wife is pissed! It should have been hers! So I quickly tied on a X Rap bait in pearl color for her to throw, I told her to get to fishing, she's not the only one here, on her first cast a 5 pound plus hammers its and the fight is on, fish comes to the top and shakes off the bait, my wife never set the hooks! Sorry Hun!
But she does hold a my big bass nicely!
